‼️A fire broke out onboard the 34-metre Custom Line motor yacht Eagle Wings III at the ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove in Singapore on the morning of Sunday 7 June.
According to local news reports, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to a fire at 11 Cove Drive at around 8:10am. The yacht was fully engulfed in flames, with land based emergency services arriving at the scene in seven minutes and immediately deploying a water jet from the pontoon to fight the fire.
Eagle Wings III began drifting away from her berth, with an SCDF Marine Vessel also deployed as part of the operation. “At the height of the firefighting operation, two water jets from the pontoon and one water monitor from the SCDF Marine Vessel were deployed,” explained the Singapore Civil Defence Force.
There were no reported injuries at the time of publication and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
