In this day and age, watching monohull races is a bit like watching grannies race with their prams. Cute, but not really thrilling.

Commentary is a total joke. You'd think they'd be able to hire people who knew something about sailing instead of waffling about nothing for an hour and a half.

I think when the boats were rounding the first mark, it was some of the most beautiful sailing to watch

Absurd course. What's the point of having the first three marks if the boats are going to be packed together again because there's no wind where the tart line was?

What is it with the 'girl, girl, girl' thing?  These male asshole commentators don't refer to the other boats crews as 'boys'. I'm a male and I find this SO annoying.  Get with the times, 'boys'.
